The 1950s Park Forest House Museum interprets

an original home as it might have been, 1948-1953.

Operated by the Park Forest Historical Society.

Museum Hours

 

We are currently open for our regular hours.  You only need an appointment for a time other than the regular days/hours, unless you plan to come with a group.  In that case, do check with Jane to be sure we do not have an issue on the day you plan to come, and to be sure we provide the best experience for your group.

Wednesday and Saturday 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.; or small groups by appointment.

$5 for adults;  12 & under free with a paying adult

Group rates negotiable for large tours, school and scout field trips.

We need financial help with the expenses of our museum and Archive Office. The Park Forest Historical Society is accepting donations to "Adopt a Month of Rent."

Rent for the museum is $400. If you can make a donation toward rent for $400 per month please email the society or phone  Michael Gans, 708-305-3308. 

Rent for the Archive Office is $250 per month.
