Dining Room of the Park Forest House Museum

Dining Room: In the dining room you will hear about the production of Formica and chrome dinette sets. 1950s dishes and pottery are on display, along with many examples of hammered aluminum.  The table is decorated for every major season or holiday.

Our housewife is using a 1948 book and a Singer Featherweight to make her new barkcloth drapes.
